My newest works that aren't quite finished yet. And the three last ones are practical works.

Practical work: we had a picture (Manet's The Lunch on the Grass) in another room where we always went to look at it. And then we returned to our place and tried to paint from memory.

Here we chose a picture/photo and "copied" with different styles. On the right is with thick paint and on the left is with really small brush.

On the right is with really big brush and on the left is by trickling the paint.

Back for good

It's been a long time since I last time updated my blog. But I don't have so much to show, yet. I'm working on couple of paintings in school and I trying to make pretasks to schools I'm applying. So maybe you'll see those works too :) But here's four paintings I made for christmas gifts.

New acryl paints!

I just got new acryl paints and I'm in love with them. Especially with modelling paste :) This one isn't ready yet so it doesn' have name. Anyway here's a new painting!

Here you can see the process :) Still not ready but much much better I think. This painting you have to touch and see it yourself. The surface is so different and I love modelling paste :)

Apple Queen

A painting I'd forgot to add here. This one was made in spring, in painting course. We had to make provocative selfpotrait. So first I thought I would paint myself as really rich bitch. But then the idea changed to this Apple commercial/playing card :D I've been brainwashed to use Mac.. I don't even know how to use PC or any other computers. Pretty pathetic.

A new painting or collage, still not finished. But first time I use wallpaper, thanks to Harry who gave me these cool old wallpapers. Also first time when I paint on bought canvas, not so nice. I have also really bad acryl colours now and only one brush. But I'm really happy with the painting now, it still needs something though.
